The people behind the games
DiceGem is a small studio: the same people design the games, write the rules pages and answer your mail. Each profile below links to that person's articles and public profiles.

Deniz Arslan
Founder and lead game designer
Deniz started DiceGem to build the card and board games played around Turkish family tables as proper browser games, with the real rules and a computer opponent that plays them well. Deniz writes the game engines, sets the rules for every new title and signs off each game before release.

Mira Holt
Editor, puzzle and word games
Mira designs the logic puzzles and word games on DiceGem and writes their rules pages and solving guides. Every puzzle generator ships with a solver that proves each board has exactly one solution before it reaches a player.

Tomas Reyes
Editor, casino-style games and fairness
Tomas maintains the blackjack, poker, roulette and baccarat tables and the fairness programme behind them: every bet's return to player is recomputed from the rules by automated play and published on the fairness page. He also writes the strategy guides and the odds tools.

Editorial standards
-
Built in-house
Every game on DiceGem is written by our own team. No licensed catalogue, no rebranded templates, so we can answer for every rule and every line of code.
-
Tested before release
Game rules are deterministic and run through thousands of automated plays before a game goes live. The measured return of every casino-style bet is published on the fairness page.
-
Open about the data
Play counts, returns and the catalogue are published as open data and monthly reports, so anything we claim about a game can be checked against the numbers.
Casino-style games on DiceGem use virtual credits only. Credits cannot be bought, cashed out or exchanged for money or prizes, and winning at a social game does not mean you would win at real-money gambling.
