Play Responsibly
Updated
DiceGem’s casino-style games (roulette, blackjack, baccarat, poker, slots, dice and lottery-style games) are made for fun and for learning how these games work. We want them to stay that way.
Our commitments
- No real money, ever. Credits are virtual. They cannot be bought, cashed out or exchanged for money, prizes or anything of value.
- No pressure to keep playing. When your credits run out you get a fresh balance. Watching an ad for credits, if we ever show one, will always be optional, and you get the credits anyway.
- Honest odds. Every bet follows the published rules of its variant, with the same odds for every player on every round. Nothing adjusts the odds to keep you playing. See how we make games.
- No gambling links. We do not link to, advertise or earn money from casinos or betting sites.
- Adults only. Casino-style games are intended for players aged 18 or over (or the legal age where you live, if higher). Parents can use their device’s parental controls to block them.
Social games are not real gambling
In a free game, losing costs nothing, so it is easy to play loosely and still enjoy it. Real-money games have a house edge that, over time, means the casino wins. A good run in a free game does not mean you would win with real money, and no strategy overcomes the house edge in the long run.
Warning signs
Gambling, with real money or not, may be becoming a problem if you:
- spend more time or money than you planned, or chase losses,
- feel restless or irritable when you try to stop,
- hide how much you play from family or friends,
- borrow money, or neglect work, study or relationships, because of gambling,
- gamble to escape stress, worry or low mood.
