House edge calculator
Pick a game and a bet, enter how much you stake per round and how many rounds you play, and the calculator shows the average outcome. It uses the same figures as our fairness page: each one is computed exactly from the game's rules and checked by its tests.
How to read the result
- Total staked is stake × rounds. The average return is that amount times the bet's return to player, and the difference is the average loss (or gain, for the few bets that return more than 100% with optimal play).
- It is an average over very many sessions. A single session of a few hundred rounds can easily end well above or below it, especially on bets with large, rare payouts.
- Bets marked optimal play assume the best decision every time; mistakes lower the return. For games with an extra stake during the round (raise, play, double), the stake here is the initial bet.
- Games whose return depends on your decisions, player-versus-player tables and bingo prize pools have no single figure and are not listed.
Credits on DiceGem are virtual and have no cash value. If you play real-money games elsewhere, the house edge works the same way; our responsible play page lists free help.
