The classic letter-guessing game: a hidden word, an alphabet to pick from, and a gallows that grows with every wrong letter. Reveal the whole word before the drawing is finished. Play the daily word once a day or practice with random words, in English or Turkish.
How to play
The word. Every word has five to nine letters and comes from a list of common words, so you will not meet obscure vocabulary. The number of letters is shown as blank slots from the start.
Guessing. Tap a letter on the keyboard or type it. If the letter is in the word, every place it appears is revealed. If not, one more part of the gallows is drawn. You have seven wrong guesses: pole, beam, rope, head, body, arms and legs.
Winning and losing. You win as soon as every letter is revealed. You lose when the seventh wrong guess completes the drawing; the word is then shown.
Daily and practice. The daily word is the same for everyone on the same day (midnight UTC) and can be played once. Practice mode gives a new random word whenever you want.
Hint. Once per word you can watch a short rewarded ad to reveal one letter without it counting as a wrong guess.
Stats. Games played and win rate are kept separately for each language. The streak counts consecutive days with a solved daily word; practice games do not affect it, and leaving a practice word after a guess counts as a loss.
Strategy
- Start with vowels and the most common consonants. In English that is E, A, R, T, O, N, S; in Turkish A, E, İ, N, R, L, K.
- Let the word shape guide you: a word ending in an open slot after “-IN” is probably “-ING”, a Turkish word ending in “-LI” or “-LIK” follows common suffix patterns.
- Count how many letters remain unknown before risking a rare letter. With several wrong guesses left you can afford a probe; with one left, pick the letter that fits the most candidate words.
- Once a few letters are open, think of whole words that fit rather than single letters.
