How to play
Twin Way Stars is a five-reel, three-row slot with 10 lines, and the twist is right there in the name: each line is checked twice, once starting from the left reel and once starting from the right reel.
Choose a coin from 1 to 20. Ten lines means a spin costs ten coins, so the minimum is 10 credits and the 1,000 you start with lasts a long time. Press Spin. When the reels stop, every line is read from both ends and any wins are added to your credits.
Three or more Free spins gems on different reels start a free spins round. The button changes to Free spin, shows how many remain, and keeps your coin fixed until the round ends.
Two directions on every line
A normal slot only pays runs that begin on reel 1. Here a run that begins on reel 5 and reads leftward pays too. So three red stars on reels 3, 4 and 5 of a line are a win, which they would not be elsewhere.
A line can also pay twice in the same spin. Suppose reel 1, 2 and 3 of a line show bell, bell, wild, and reels 3, 4 and 5 show wild, heart, heart. The wild in the middle belongs to both runs: three bells pay from the left and three hearts from the right.
Five of a kind is the one exception. If either direction makes a full five, the line pays once, using whichever direction gives more.
That’s the whole feature in the base game: no expanding symbols, no respins, no pick rounds. Free spins play by the same both-ways rule.

The odds
Every reel has 36 stops with two wilds and two gems. Three or more gems turn up about once per 28 spins. The return is 95.82%, calculated exactly from the reels and the pay table, with both directions and free spin retriggers counted, not simulated. A two-million-round sampling run measured a hit rate of about 39.5%; that figure is approximate.
The free spins round adds its scatter prize plus however many spins it awards, which makes a typical bonus a modest boost rather than a jackpot moment.
Strategy
As with every slot here, the reels are random and no choice affects them except your coin. Useful observations:
- The middle reel is in everything. Any three of a kind, from either side, must include reel 3. A wild there can complete runs in both directions on several lines at once.
- Wilds on the edges are half as useful. A wild on reel 1 only helps runs from the left, and one on reel 5 only helps runs from the right.
- Free spins are frequent and plain. They come roughly every 28 spins and play exactly like base spins. Retriggers add more.
