How to play
Wild Multiplier Wilds is a five-reel, three-row frontier slot with 20 paylines. The symbols are a sheriff star, a desert sun, a saloon bell, a lucky heart and the card ranks A to 10, plus a wild that never shows up without a number attached.
Choose your Coin (1, 2, 5, 10 or 20). It’s the bet on each of the 20 lines, so one spin costs coin × 20. Press Spin. Lines pay from reel 1 to the right, and the Pay table button shows each payout at the coin you’ve selected. Free spins play through the same button, now labelled Free spin, and the coin is locked until they finish.
New sessions start with 1,000 virtual credits. When they’re gone, one tap gives you another 1,000 for free.
Multipliers on every wild
Each wild lands carrying a multiplier badge, drawn separately for every wild:
| Badge | Chance per wild |
|---|---|
| ×2 | 60% |
| ×3 | 30% |
| ×5 | 10% |
On average a wild’s badge is worth ×2.6. When a line wins, the game looks at the wilds that are part of that winning run and multiplies their badges together. Then it multiplies the line win by the result, up to a cap of ×25 per line.
Examples:
- One ×3 wild in a line of three hearts: the 3 coins become 9.
- A ×2 and a ×3 in the same line: ×6.
- Two ×5 wilds: ×25, already at the cap.
- Three ×3 wilds would make ×27, but the line is capped at ×25.
The badges multiply, they don’t add. So two modest ×2 wilds give ×4, while a ×2 and a ×5 give ×10. A wild that sits on the screen but outside the winning run does nothing for that line. If the line pays three of a kind, only wilds on reels 1 to 3 of that line count. One wild can sit on several lines at once and boost each of them.
The wilds appear often: each reel strip carries three, so a given reel shows one about one spin in five. They’re spread out, never stacked, so you won’t see two on the same reel.
The wild has no pay line of its own
Unlike most slots, this wild has no row in the pay table. It only stands in for other symbols. That has a funny side effect: a line made entirely of wilds counts as five sheriff stars, the best symbol it can stand in for, and then the badges multiply that. Five wilds on one line is extremely rare, but it’s the biggest single line the game can pay.
Free spins and pay table
Free spins badges pay from anywhere, counted once per reel: three pay 2× the total bet with 8 free spins, four pay 10× with 12, five pay 50× with 16. Wild multipliers work the same way during free spins, and more badges add spins.
Line pays are in coins (multiples of your line bet), before any wild multiplier.
| Symbol | 3 | 4 | 5 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sheriff star | 7 | 28 | 112 |
| Desert sun | 6 | 22 | 67 |
| Saloon bell | 4 | 17 | 45 |
| Lucky heart | 3 | 11 | 34 |
| A | 2 | 7 | 22 |
| K | 2 | 6 | 17 |
| Q | 1 | 4 | 13 |
| J | 1 | 3 | 11 |
| 10 | 1 | 3 | 9 |
The return
The return is 96.41%, calculated exactly from the reels, the multiplier odds and the pay table rather than measured by simulation. Some kind of win lands on roughly 43% of spins (a measured, approximate figure), helped by how often wilds turn up. Most of those wins are small; the big ones come from two or three high badges sharing a line.
Strategy
The badge values are drawn at random when each wild lands, and the coin size doesn’t change the odds. Things worth keeping in mind:
- A frequent win isn’t the same as a profit. Many hits return less than the 20-coin cost of a spin, even after a ×2.
- Because the cap is ×25, three wilds on one line add little beyond what two strong ones already give. The real upside is a high symbol completing four or five in a row with two wilds inside it.
- To make 1,000 credits last, use a small coin. Coin 1 gives about 50 paid spins before counting wins.
For a different take on wilds that do more than substitute, Nebula Wilds expands its wilds over whole reels and pays lines in both directions.
