How to play
Candy Bazaar has no reels and no paylines. It’s a grid six columns wide and five rows tall, filled with sweets from an old market stall: baklava, Turkish delight, jelly beans, donuts, gumdrops, wrapped candies, star and heart candies, and the rainbow lollipop at the top.
Pick a bet of 10, 20, 50, 100 or 200 credits with the bet buttons, then press Spin. Unlike a line slot, the bet here is the whole stake for the spin. There is no coin and no line count to multiply.
The rule for winning is short: eight or more of the same sweet anywhere on the 30 squares. They don’t need to touch, sit in a row or start from the left. Count them across the whole grid. Once a spin wins:
- Every winning sweet disappears.
- The sweets above fall down to fill the gaps.
- New sweets drop in from the top.
- If the new grid has eight or more of something, that pays too and the grid tumbles again.
This repeats until a grid has no win. The message under the grid tracks the running total (“Win so far”) and how many drops the spin took. You start with 1,000 virtual credits and can take another 1,000 for free if the balance hits zero.
Multiplier bombs
Four bombs can land in any square: ×2, ×3, ×5 and ×10. The ×2 and ×3 are the most common; the ×5 and ×10 come half as often. Bombs never pay on their own, and they never disappear during the tumbles. They just sit there while the sweets fall around them, and new bombs can fall in with the fresh sweets.
When the tumbling finishes, the game adds up every bomb still on the grid. If the spin won anything at all, the full win is multiplied by that sum. A ×3 and a ×5 make ×8, so a 20-credit win becomes 160. A lone ×2 doubles the win. On a spin with no win, bombs do nothing.
Bombs show up often. About 84% of opening grids have at least one, and the average grid holds close to two. The catch is that the bombs and the win have to arrive on the same spin, and most spins don’t win.
Pay table
Payouts are multiples of your bet. The column is the number of that sweet on the grid in one drop.
| Sweet | 8–9 | 10–11 | 12+ |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rainbow lollipop | 7.1 | 16.6 | 33 |
| Heart candy | 1.8 | 6.6 | 16.6 |
| Star candy | 1.4 | 3.3 | 10 |
| Wrapped candy | 1.1 | 2.6 | 7.9 |
| Gumdrop | 0.7 | 1 | 6.6 |
| Donut | 0.6 | 0.8 | 5.3 |
| Jelly bean | 0.4 | 0.7 | 3.3 |
| Turkish delight | 0.3 | 0.6 | 2.6 |
| Baklava | 0.2 | 0.6 | 2 |
Fractional pays are rounded down to whole credits, which is one reason larger bets show cleaner numbers. At a bet of 10, eight baklava pay 2 credits.
How common each sweet is
Every square is filled by its own independent draw, and the cheap sweets are much more common than the lollipop. On the opening grid, eight or more baklava turn up about 7% of the time. Eight lollipops on the opening grid happen roughly once in 3,600 spins. Tumbles give extra chances, since every drop is a fresh partial grid, but the gap between the bottom and top of the table is real.
The return
Tumbles depend on one another, so there’s no closed formula for this game. The return was measured over 600,000 simulated spins: about 96.8% in the long run, with a win on roughly one spin in five or six. The rest of the return is packed into a small share of spins where a decent win meets two or three bombs.
Strategy
There’s nothing to aim. You don’t hold, nudge or choose symbols, and the bet size doesn’t change any probability. Every square is a fresh random draw.
What you can decide is pace:
- Wins come about once every five or six spins, and many of them are below the bet. A ×1.1 wrapped-candy win on a 20-credit bet returns 22, barely ahead.
- Bombs can turn those small wins into real ones, so the game is streaky. A bet of 10 gives you around 100 spins from a fresh balance, enough to see several bomb-boosted wins.
- Don’t chase a loss by raising the bet. The house keeps about 3.2% of total stakes on average whatever size you play.
For candy that has to touch to pay, try Sugar Cluster, which uses groups of five or more on a bigger 7 × 7 grid.
