How to play

A normal European wheel, 0 to 36 with a single zero, where every usual bet pays exactly what it pays there. Next to the layout sits one extra spot, the Jackpot bet, and the pot above it.

You start with 1,000 virtual credits.

  1. Choose a chip and place roulette bets as usual: numbers, the rings between numbers, outside bets or the racetrack buttons.
  2. Tap Jackpot 10 to add the side bet. It always costs 10 credits, whatever chip is selected, and goes on once per spin.
  3. Press Spin.

Other spots take 10 to 1,000 credits in steps of 10, and the table holds up to 5,000 per spin, the jackpot bet included.

The streak

The jackpot bet pays when the same number comes up on consecutive spins that all had a jackpot bet. Under the pot, the table shows your streak: the number and how many times in a row it has come up.

Same number in a rowJackpot bet returns
2250 (25 times the bet)
32,500 (250 times)
410,000 (1,000 times)
5 or morethe whole pot

Example: 17 comes up, then 17, then 17, with a jackpot bet each time. The second spin returns 250 and the third 2,500. Each streak starts with the first spin you bet on: the jackpot bet on that spin can’t pay yet.

A spin without the jackpot bet ends the streak. You can’t wait for a number to repeat and then join in: the repeat only counts if you were already on it.

The pot

The pot starts at 10,000 credits, and each jackpot bet adds 1 credit to it. Five in a row wins everything in it, and it starts again at 10,000. The pot is kept between visits; it resets only if you run out of credits and take a fresh 1,000.

The odds

Roulette bets: unchanged from the European table, a house edge of 1/37, about 2.70%.

Jackpot bet: each spin, the number repeats with probability 1 in 37. If you bet on every spin, the chance that a given spin completes exactly 2 in a row is 36 in 1,369, exactly 3 in a row 36 in 50,653, and so on. From that, the fixed prizes return 85.43% of what you stake on the jackpot bet. That is the long-run figure for a player who bets every spin (a fresh streak needs a spin to start, so a short session returns a little less), and it leaves out the pot.

Five in a row comes up once in 1,874,161 spins on average (37⁴), so the pot is a very long shot. One credit of every 10 you put in goes into it, and it is paid only if you hit the streak. Count on the 85.43%, not the pot.

Strategy

  • The jackpot bet is optional. Without it, this is a plain European table at 2.70%.
  • It costs more than the main bets. The fixed prizes give back 85.43%, so a session of jackpot bets costs about 1.46 credits a spin on average.
  • Betting every spin is what keeps a streak alive. Skip one spin and the next repeat starts again from one.
  • The number doesn’t matter. A streak of zeros pays the same as any other.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to bet on the repeated number?

No. The jackpot bet pays on the repeat itself, whatever else is on the layout.

Can I put more than 10 on the jackpot bet?

No. It's a fixed 10 credits, once per spin.

What happens to my streak if I run out of credits?

Taking the free 1,000 credits starts a new table: the streak and the pot reset.

What happens if I run out of credits?

A button gives you 1,000 free credits. Credits are virtual: they can't be bought, cashed out or exchanged for prizes.
