How to play

The wheel here is the standard European one: numbers 1 to 36 plus a single green 0, 37 pockets in all. What’s different happens after you stop betting. Once you press Spin, the game lights up between one and five lucky numbers, gives each its own multiplier, and only then lets the ball fall.

  1. Choose a chip (10, 50, 100 or 500) and place it on the layout. You can bet on single numbers, including 0, on splits, streets, corners and six lines (the small rings on the lines between numbers), on the racetrack groups under the chips, and on the outside bets: red or black, odd or even, 1–18 or 19–36, the three dozens and the three columns.
  2. Undo takes back the last chip, Clear empties the layout, and Rebet restores the bets from your last spin.
  3. Press Spin. The message line announces the lucky numbers for this spin while the wheel turns.
  4. The ball lands. A straight-up bet on a lucky number is paid at that number’s multiplier; everything else is paid at the normal rate.

Each betting spot takes 10 to 1,000 credits, in tens, and the layout holds up to 5,000 per spin.

Payouts on this table

BetPays
Single number, not lucky29 to 1
Single number, lucky50 to 1 up to 500 to 1
Split, street, corner, six line17, 11, 8, 5 to 1 (no multiplier)
Dozen or column2 to 1
Red, black, odd, even, 1–18, 19–361 to 1

The one thing to notice is the first row. On a regular wheel a straight-up win pays 35 to 1; here it pays 29 to 1 unless the number happens to be lucky. Those six missing units on every ordinary hit are what fund the big multipliers. Outside bets are untouched: a red bet pays even money whatever the lucky numbers are.

How the lucky numbers are drawn

The number of lucky pockets is 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5, each equally likely, so three on average. They are chosen from all 37 pockets, 0 included. Each one then gets a multiplier independently:

MultiplierChance
50×52%
100×25%
150×10%
200×7%
300×3%
500×3%

Averaged out, a lucky number pays about 104 to 1.

The odds

The ball doesn’t know which numbers are lucky. Every pocket still comes up once in 37 spins on average, and that makes the maths straightforward.

Straight-up bets. Your number is lucky in 3 spins out of 37 on average. When it is, a hit pays about 105 units back (104 to 1 plus the stake); otherwise a hit returns 30. Weight those and multiply by the 1-in-37 chance of the ball landing there, and a straight bet returns 97.52% of what you stake, a house edge of 2.48%.

Outside bets. These work exactly as on European Roulette: 18 winning pockets out of 37 for even-money bets, 12 out of 37 for dozens and columns. The return is 97.30%, an edge of 2.70%. When the ball lands on 0, every outside bet loses. Splits, streets, corners and six lines pay their normal rates and never take a multiplier, so they also return 97.30%.

So single numbers are very slightly better value here than outside bets, but the profile is completely different. Bet the same number every spin and you’ll catch it lucky-and-hit about once in 456 spins. Most of the time your straight bets will be paying 29 to 1, which is worse than a normal wheel, and the lost value comes back in rare, large lumps.

Strategy

  • Decide what kind of session you want. Outside bets behave like ordinary roulette. Straight bets here are a lottery ticket stapled to a slightly worse roulette bet.
  • Spread straight bets if you want more chances at a multiplier. Covering more numbers raises the chance that one of your numbers is both lucky and hit, but each chip still carries the same 2.48% edge.
  • Don’t wait for a number to “get lucky”. Lucky numbers are drawn fresh every spin, after bets close. Past lucky numbers and past results tell you nothing.
  • Keep chips small on straight-up bets. With hits paying 29 to 1 most of the time and multipliers arriving rarely, a balance can drain quickly between big wins.

Frequently asked questions

Can 0 be a lucky number?

Yes. All 37 pockets can be drawn, and a straight bet on 0 earns its multiplier just like any other number.

Do I bet before or after the lucky numbers appear?

Before. Bets close when you press Spin, and the lucky numbers are drawn after that, so they can't be targeted.

Do multipliers apply to red, black or the dozens?

No. Only straight-up bets on a single number use the multipliers. Every outside bet pays its usual rate.

Why does a normal number pay only 29 to 1?

That reduction pays for the multipliers. Over many spins the two balance out to a 97.52% return on straight bets.

Are the credits real money?

No. Credits are virtual and exist only in this game. They can't be bought, cashed out or exchanged for anything. If you run out, 1,000 free credits are available.
