Classic Baccarat takes 5% of every winning Banker bet. Seven Push Baccarat drops that fee completely and pays Banker wins at even money, with one exception: when Banker wins with a three-card total of 7, Banker bets push (your stake comes back, nothing more). That single rule replaces the commission, and it is cheaper for you than the 5% fee. Two side bets are built around these rare hands: one on the Banker’s three-card 7 and one on a Player win with a three-card 8.
How to play
Chips and spots. Chips come in 10, 50, 100 and 500. The three large spots are Player, Tie and Banker; below them are Player 3-Card 8 on the left and Banker 3-Card 7 on the right (on a short screen all five share one row). Each spot takes up to 1,000 credits in steps of 10. Tap a spot to add the selected chip, then Deal. Rebet repeats your last bets, Clear removes the ones you have not dealt yet.
Scoring. Tens and picture cards count 0, aces 1, other cards their face value, and only the last digit of the total counts: 8 and 7 make 5. The hand closer to 9 wins.
Drawing. Two cards each. With 8 or 9 on either side (a natural) nobody draws. Otherwise Player draws on 0 to 5 and stands on 6 or 7, and Banker draws by the standard third-card chart, which depends on its own total and on Player’s third card. The game applies the chart automatically; the full table is on the Baccarat page.
When Banker wins with a three-card 7, the result line says so (“Banker wins with a 3-card 7: Banker bets push”) so it is clear why your Banker bet only came back.
Payouts
| Bet | Wins when | Pays | House edge |
|---|---|---|---|
| Player | Player has the higher total | 1 to 1 | 1.24% |
| Banker | Banker has the higher total | 1 to 1, push on a winning three-card 7 | 1.02% |
| Tie | Both totals are equal | 8 to 1 | 14.36% |
| Banker 3-Card 7 | Banker wins with three cards totalling 7 | 40 to 1 | 7.61% |
| Player 3-Card 8 | Player wins with three cards totalling 8 | 25 to 1 | 10.19% |
Player and Banker bets are returned on a tie. Both side bets need a win: a three-card 7 that only ties, or a two-card 7, loses Banker 3-Card 7. The side bets do not depend on your main bet, so you can play one on its own. Every edge above is calculated exactly for eight decks in the game’s own tests.
Why no commission is cheaper here
In classic Baccarat every Banker win pays 0.95, which gives the house 1.06%. Here almost every Banker win pays a full 1 to 1. The house gets its money back only on the winning three-card 7, which happens in about 2.25% of rounds (roughly one in 44). The trade works in your favour: the Banker edge falls to 1.02%.
Compare that with No Commission Baccarat, which pays half on any Banker win with 6. Banker 6 wins are more than twice as common, and that table’s Banker bet costs 1.46%.
Strategy
Back Banker. At 1.02% it is the cheapest bet in this game and slightly cheaper than Banker in classic Baccarat.
Player is the close second. 1.24%, the same as in every Punto Banco game.
If you want a side bet, Banker 3-Card 7 is the better one. It wins about once in 44 rounds and costs 7.61%. Player 3-Card 8 wins a little more often, about once in 29 rounds, but its 25 to 1 payout leaves a 10.19% edge.
Skip Tie. At 14.36% it is the most expensive spot on the table.
Don’t read the road. The strip of P, B and T beads shows recent results only. Each round comes from a shuffled eight-deck shoe, reshuffled when fewer than 16 cards remain.
