How to play
Titan Reels looks like a standard five-reel, three-row slot with 20 lines until a giant block drops over reels 2, 3 and 4. That 3 × 3 block is one symbol, and it counts as that symbol in all nine cells.
Choose a coin (1, 2, 5, 10 or 20). The stake is twenty coins per spin. Press Spin; line wins are paid from the left, best combination per line. You have 1,000 credits to start.
Three or more Free spins medallions on different reels pay a scatter prize and start free spins. The button reads Free spin while they last, and the coin stays locked to the one that triggered them.
The giant symbol
The giant comes from its own separate strip of 91 entries. Sixty of them are blanks, so on roughly two spins in three there’s no giant at all and the middle reels show their normal symbols. On the other third, one block covers the middle of the grid.
The block’s contents are weighted toward cheap symbols: mostly royals, fewer pictures, and only one entry each for the wild and the medallion. What it can do:
- A regular giant symbol turns the middle into three of a kind on every line. You then need the same symbol (or a wild) on reel 1 to get paid. Each row of reel 1 starts six or seven of the 20 lines, so one matching symbol there pays four of a kind on all of those lines at once, or five where reel 5 matches too.
- A giant wild (1 in 91 spins) does the same for any symbol on reel 1, and wilds on reel 1 make it a run of wilds.
- A giant medallion (also 1 in 91) counts as three reels with a medallion. That alone starts free spins, and medallions on reels 1 or 5 push it to four or five.
Giants keep landing during free spins as well.
Pay table
| Symbol | 3 | 4 | 5 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Titan wild | 8 | 42 | 167 |
| Titan’s crown | 5 | 20 | 84 |
| Bronze shield | 4 | 17 | 51 |
| Eternal flame | 3 | 13 | 33 |
| Golden sun | 3 | 8 | 25 |
| A | 2 | 5 | 17 |
| K | 1 | 4 | 13 |
| Q | 1 | 3 | 10 |
| J | 1 | 3 | 8 |
| 10 | 1 | 2 | 7 |
Coins per line. These pays are low on purpose; the giant multiplies them by hitting many lines at once.
| Medallions | Prize | Free spins |
|---|---|---|
| 3 | 2× total bet | 8 |
| 4 | 10× total bet | 12 |
| 5 | 50× total bet | 16 |
The odds
Free spins arrive about once every 29 spins, counting both normal medallions and the giant one. The return is 95.02%, calculated exactly from the reels, the giant strip and the pay table, not simulated. A sampling run of 2,000,000 rounds measured a hit rate of about 36.7%; that figure is an estimate.
That’s lower than Walking Wilds (96.33%), Temple Tome (96.14%), Twin Way Stars (95.82%) and Colossus Reels (95.45%), so you’re trading a little return for the spectacle of the big blocks.
Strategy
Nothing in the game reacts to your choices except the coin, so strategy is about expectations.
- Reel 1 decides giant spins. When a block lands, look left first. A matching symbol in reel 1 means a multi-line hit; a mismatch usually means nothing, however impressive the block looks.
- A royal giant is the usual case. Most blocks are A to 10, which pay small even across many lines. Pictures and wilds are what move the balance.
- Keep spins in reserve for free spins. The bonus comes about every 29 spins, and giants inside it are where the larger results come from.
For a symbol that expands to fill whole reels during free spins, see Temple Tome. If you’d like a whole reel of wilds that stays put for a respin, Nebula Wilds is built around exactly that.
