How to play
Triple Zero Roulette takes the American wheel and squeezes one more green pocket onto it. Besides the numbers 1 to 36 there are three zeros, 0, 00 and 000, for 39 pockets in total. On the wheel the 000 sits between the 2 and the single 0. The layout, the bets and the payouts are the ones you already know from roulette; only the pocket count is different.
- Pick a chip from the tray: 10, 50, 100 or 500.
- Tap the layout to place it. Tapping the same spot again stacks another chip. Each of the three zeros has its own spot at the top of the number grid.
- Undo removes your most recent chip, Clear empties the table, and Rebet restores the bets from the previous spin.
- Press Spin. The ball settles in one pocket, winning bets are paid, and the rest are collected. The latest numbers stay listed beside the wheel.
Each spot accepts 10 to 1,000 credits in steps of 10, and the table limit is 5,000 per spin.
Bets and payouts
| Bet | Pockets covered | Pays |
|---|---|---|
| Straight: one number, or 0, 00 or 000 | 1 | 35 to 1 |
| Split: ring on the line between two numbers (0/1, 00/2, 000/3, 0/00 and 00/000 included) | 2 | 17 to 1 |
| Street, or the 0-00-000 trio | 3 | 11 to 1 |
| Corner: ring where four numbers meet | 4 | 8 to 1 |
| Six line: two rows of three | 6 | 5 to 1 |
| Dozen: 1st 12, 2nd 12, 3rd 12 | 12 | 2 to 1 |
| Column (the “2 to 1” boxes) | 12 | 2 to 1 |
| Red or Black | 18 | 1 to 1 |
| Odd or Even | 18 | 1 to 1 |
| 1–18 or 19–36 | 18 | 1 to 1 |
The three zeros are green and belong to none of the outside groups. When the ball drops into 0, 00 or 000, every dozen, column, colour, odd/even and high/low bet loses. Only a straight bet on that exact zero wins.
The odds
Roulette payouts are set as if the wheel had 36 pockets. A straight bet paying 35 to 1 would be a fair bet on 36 pockets: you’d win once in 36 spins and collect 36 units. Each zero added to the wheel is a pocket the payout table ignores, and that’s where the house edge comes from.
With 39 pockets, a straight bet still returns 36 units when it wins, but it wins once in 39 spins. That’s a return of 36/39, or 92.31%, and a house edge of 3/39, about 7.69%.
The same arithmetic works for every bet on this layout. A dozen covers 12 of the 39 pockets and returns 3 units: again 36/39. Red covers 18 and returns 2: 36/39 once more. There is no cheaper bet hidden anywhere on the table, and no combination of bets brings the edge down.
Compared with the other wheels on the site:
| Wheel | Pockets | House edge | Credits kept per 1,000 staked |
|---|---|---|---|
| Single zero, European Roulette | 37 | 2.70% | about 27 |
| Double zero, American Roulette | 38 | 5.26% | about 53 |
| Triple zero (this table) | 39 | 7.69% | about 77 |
One extra pocket looks minor, but it nearly triples the cost of playing compared with the single-zero wheel.
How often the zeros come up
A zero lands on 3 spins in 39, about one spin in thirteen. An even-money bet such as Red wins 18 times in 39 (46.2%), a little less than it does on American Roulette (47.4%) and on a single-zero wheel (48.6%).
Strategy
Since every bet costs exactly the same 7.69%, the choice of bet only changes how bumpy the ride is.
- Outside bets for a long, slow session. Red, Black, Odd, Even, 1–18 and 19–36 win almost half the time and keep your balance moving in small steps.
- Straight bets for big, rare wins. One number hits about once in 39 spins and pays 35 to 1. Covering many numbers at once doesn’t help; you’re simply placing several bets at the same edge.
- Betting on the zeros is not a trick. A straight bet on 000 has the same 1-in-39 chance and the same 35-to-1 payout as one on 17.
- No progression changes the total. Doubling after losses only makes sessions swing harder; the edge on each spin stays 7.69%.
- If the odds matter to you, switch tables. This wheel is here for variety. French Roulette and the European wheel give far more of your stake back.
