How to play
Dice 100 is a “die” with ten thousand faces. Each roll produces a number from 00.00 to 99.99, every one of the 10,000 values equally likely. You decide where the line is and which side of it you’re backing, so you set your own odds before every roll.
- Set the target with the slider, any whole number from 2 to 98.
- Pick a direction. Under wins when the roll is strictly below the target. Or over wins when the roll is equal to the target or higher. With a target of 40, “Under 40” wins on 00.00 to 39.99, and “40 or over” wins on 40.00 to 99.99.
- Place a bet. Chips come in 100, 500, 1,000 and 5,000; a bet runs from 100 to 10,000 in steps of 100. Rebet brings back your last stake.
- Press Roll. A marker slides along the bar and stops on the result; your winning zone is shown in green, the losing zone in red.
Before you commit, three boxes show the Win chance, the Multiplier, and what the bet Win pays in credits. They update live as you move the slider or switch sides. A strip of recent rolls sits above the bar.
You start with 10,000 credits.
How the payout is calculated
The formula is simple and the same for every target. Count the outcomes that win your bet, call it c out of 10,000. A win returns your stake times 9,900 ÷ c, rounded down to a whole credit.
Some examples:
| Your bet | Winning rolls | Win chance | Multiplier | 100 credits returns |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Under 2 | 200 | 2% | ×49.50 | 4,950 |
| Under 10 | 1,000 | 10% | ×9.90 | 990 |
| Under 25 | 2,500 | 25% | ×3.96 | 396 |
| Under 50 / 50 or over | 5,000 | 50% | ×1.98 | 198 |
| 25 or over | 7,500 | 75% | ×1.32 | 132 |
| Under 98 | 9,800 | 98% | ×1.0102 | 101 |
Notice that “Under 50” and “50 or over” are mirror bets with the same multiplier. The same holds for any pair: “Under 30” and “70 or over” each cover 3,000 rolls and pay ×3.30.
The return
Multiply the win chance by the multiplier and you always get 0.99. That means every bet, from the 2% long shot to the 98% near-certainty, returns 99% of the stake on average. The house edge is a flat 1%, plus a sliver from rounding down.
Rounding matters most on small bets with awkward multipliers. A 100-credit win at ×1.4142 (“30 or over”) is worth 141.42 but pays 141. That’s why bets start at 100 credits: at that size the rounding loss stays well under 1%, and on larger bets it nearly disappears.
Strategy
Choose your volatility, not your odds. Since every target carries the same 1% edge, there’s no “best” target. A low-chance bet pays big and rarely; a high-chance bet pays little and often. Both lose the same amount per credit in the long run.
Match bet size to target. At a 2% chance, losing streaks of 50 or 100 rolls are normal. If you play that end of the slider, use small bets so your credits survive long enough to see a hit.
High-chance targets aren’t safe money. “Under 98” wins 98 times in 100 and returns just 101 on a 100 bet. Two losses in a hundred rolls wipe out the profit from the other ninety-eight.
Ignore the history strip. Every roll is independent. A run of high numbers says nothing about the next one.
Avoid doubling systems. Raising the bet after each loss runs into the 10,000 limit fast, and the 1% edge applies to every credit along the way.
