How to play
Treasure Picks is a pirate-themed slot: five reels, three rows, 20 lines, and one bonus game where you open chests until you hit a Collect.
Pick your coin (1, 2, 5, 10 or 20); twenty coins make a spin. Press Spin and the line wins are paid when the reels stop, counted from the left, one best combination per line. The session starts at 1,000 credits.
Treasure chests appear only on reels 1, 3 and 5. A chest on each of those three reels, in any row, opens the treasure room: twelve closed chests replace the reels and a prompt tells you to pick one.
The treasure room
Behind the twelve lids:
- nine prizes worth 2, 3, 5, 5, 10, 10, 15, 20 and 50 times the total bet,
- three Collect chests, which pay nothing and end the bonus.
Open chests in any order. Every prize is added to the running total and you pick again. The first Collect closes the room and the total is paid. In the rare case you open all nine prizes before any Collect, the room closes on its own with 120× the bet.
The order is shuffled once when the room opens, so there’s no pattern to learn. After the room closes, the remaining chests flip over so you can see where everything was.
Why the room is worth exactly 30× the bet
Take any single prize, say the 50. Look at it together with the three Collect chests: in the shuffled order, each of those four is equally likely to come first. So the 50 is found before the first Collect with probability 1 in 4. The same is true for every prize. Adding them up, the expected total is (2 + 3 + 5 + 5 + 10 + 10 + 15 + 20 + 50) ÷ 4 = 120 ÷ 4 = 30 times the total bet.
Other outcomes worth knowing: the very first chest is a Collect 3 times in 12, which means a quarter of rooms pay nothing. Clearing every prize happens once in 220 rooms.
Pay table
Line pays in coins. Big numbers, because with no free spins or scatters, the lines carry most of the return.
| Symbol | 3 | 4 | 5 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Treasure wild | 76 | 379 | 1515 |
| Pirate crown | 46 | 182 | 757 |
| Ruby | 38 | 151 | 454 |
| Ship’s bell | 30 | 113 | 303 |
| Pearl moon | 23 | 76 | 228 |
| A | 15 | 46 | 151 |
| K | 10 | 38 | 121 |
| Q | 8 | 30 | 90 |
| J | 6 | 23 | 76 |
| 10 | 6 | 19 | 61 |
The wild replaces any regular symbol and pays on its own; it doesn’t count as a chest.
The odds
Each chest reel has 36 stops with two chests, so it shows one 1 time in 6, and all three line up exactly 1 time in 216. Lines return 81.85% of stakes; the room adds 30 ÷ 216 = 13.89%. Total: 95.74%, an exact figure, not a sample.
Strategy
Your picks can’t change the result, since every order of the twelve chests is equally likely and the contents are fixed when the room opens. Tap quickly or slowly; it’s the same game.
Where judgement does matter is stake size. The room turns up once per 216 spins on average, and a quarter of rooms end on the first lid. If you want to see it a few times, a coin of 1 (20 credits per spin) is the sensible choice on a 1,000-credit balance; larger coins can run your credits down before the first chest trio.
The same reels and line pays are used in Fortune Wheel Slot, where three bonus symbols spin a wheel with a 250× jackpot instead of opening chests. If you prefer a pick game that can’t come up empty, Four Jackpots always pays at least its Mini.
